Course Description:
This 3 day instructor-led course provides instructions that will prepare you to install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot and support Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) Gx00* with NAS modules. The course focuses on the installation, upgrade, and support for NAS modules.
You will also complete hands-on lab activity designed to build the skills necessary to successfully upgrade, install and maintain Hitachi VSP Gx00 with NAS modules.
*Note: In this course, Hitachi VSP Gx00 refers only to VSP G400, VSP G600 and VSP G800 storage systems.

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

• Discuss the new added hardware features and software processes differences
• Describe the NAS module architecture
• Upgrade a VSP Gx00 block storage system to a VSP Gx00 with NAS module
• Describe the Hitachi VSP Gx00 with NAS modules CTO (configure-to-order) process and the bring-up-process
• Manage VSP Gx00 with NAS module using the new management interfaces
• Introduce the new NAS module support in Hitachi Command Suite and Hitachi Storage Advisor
